does anyone know if 200

the little circuit board upon which the odometer motor is soldered and gears are located and is held to the speedo with just 3 wires can be swapped with other years?

i have an abs 92 wagon and i have a good speedo from an 89 non abs sedan.

i only want to remove the little motor board and connect up the good board from 89 speedo. everything else will be the same.

i know the 92 gear has an extra tooth relative to the 89 but i do not care about that or can swap the 92 gear

is the circuitry on the board so different it is fools errand?
