source for fasteners 120-130

They are not all SAE - They are all Unified. Unified National Fine (UNF) replaced the old SAE and BSF years ago, but many threads on Volvos are coarse,
Unified National Coarse (UNC) which replaced USS and most of the BSW threads
also.
I don't think there are any 8-24 machine screws on Volvos - this is a nonstandard thread and much too coarse for a #8 screw. The standard pitches for #8 machine screws are 8-32 UNC and 8-36 UNF. 8-32 screws are used in some quantity and are generally available.
Even on a #10 screw, 24 threads per inch is quite coarse, leaving a pretty small root diameter. Nonetheless you will find both 10-24 UNC and 10-32 UNF screws in various places on Volvos.
Note - the term "Volvos" as used in this context includes models 122, 132, 220, 140, 164 and 1800. Earlier and later Volvos are mostly metric.
