Sporatic Oil Light 700 1991

When I am driving recently I have noticed that when cornering and especially breaking my oil light will suddenly come on. My oil level is ok and I have not noticed any leaking where I park every day at work. Is there possibly a problem with the oil pressure? Could there be too much oil? The level is on the high side but certainly not over the top mark on the dipstick. Could this be related to another engine issue and the oil light just happens to come on?
