Help needed before purchase 200 1990

hey klaus; i actually test drove this very car!! i have to admit it was 2 weeks ago and i looked @ 5 various volvo wagons, idle was a bit rough but smoothed out when you got rolling .(someone posted on here that they plastered a chunk of money under the hood just to discover a crusty valve cover to body ground and shazam=smooth idle) it drove nice through the gears. od worked fine. heater fan squeeled!!which means drill oil holes and pray.it does have rust holes in the floor and rear door seams(this you could not see in the photos). all in all i felt this pushed the price too high for me ,especially with no history. i have since picked up an 89 245 (206k) creampuff in st paul for 1500, this baby has no rust, but if you do go for it, i wish you the best, it could last forever and you could be happy.
