Transmission, Please Help 900

Hi, guys
I have a question.
I have a 940 turbo 1993 150 miles on it and it just stopped shifting up.
Well it is a bit confusing at 60 miles per hour the rpm's are at 3000
before it was like 2000. When I hit the OD button it downshifts to about 3500
rpm's. Does that mean it is not the OD solenoid problem, that everyone talks about?
Any help much appreciated.
