I was running around 16s with my slushbox, but after I put in the M47 I managed a 10.1s dash to 60.

That is with the deep AT rear gears and a great launch (just a little chirp from the rear tires).

From your video it looks like you could shave some time (and some life off your clutch) by loading up the engine a bit before you launch, and running the car a bit harder.

But really I'd forget the numbers, there will always be a much faster car out there. I'd focus on building a car you enjoy driving. I always have more fun in my 'slow' old wagon than in much faster 'modern' cars.
