A little puzzle... 200 1989

What is a bearing that squeals/whines (high pitch like a brake) when the car decelerates, with and without braking, in neutral as well as drive, but stops when the car accelerates or is at a stand still? I should also mention that the sound comes from the rear, and it only started when the temperature started dipping. Also, when the car is cold, when I get up to speed and let off the gas, there is no coasting. Deceleration is like light braking.

I haven't put the car on jack stands yet because I don't have time or space. I think I will be leaving this to a garage...

I have heard that rear wheel bearings don't go bad often, and I am leaning toward the center drive bearing, but I am not getting a groan/moan that some people describe.
Any and all help is appreciated,

Justin
