warning light contact switch 140-160

I did a ohm test on the switch and it seems ok. I did put two new calipers on the front and bled the system. Looking into the brass block without the contact switch in it I see what appears to be a polished cylinder. When I install the switch the ohm test shows that the contact is closed. Maybe I have a problem elsewhere? I will continue to trace wires back to the dash light. Wish me luck
