My '92 945T had rust perforations in the oil pan (I think the PO parked it routinely on grass in summer and ran it on SW Ontario salty winter roads). The holes were patched by draining the pan overnight, sanding down the rust scabs, then applying JB Weld and covering that with metallized RTV. It has been fine for two years now.
