95 940 Radio drains the battery 900

I have a similar problem with a 91 940. I have feedback in my speakers like a switch is being turned on and off even with the key out of the ignition. For that matter even with the radio setting on the back seat. I've pulled the Audio fuse (separate from the fuse for the radio in the main panel and the fuse on the radio itself) That cured the feedback and killing the battery problem. Now what to do to get rid of the sound like squirrels running around inside the doors and have a working radio again. I suspect one of the posters is right, it has to do with the separate amp, which I believe the fuse marked "audio" is for.

Regards,

Perry
