Seat swap or conversion - any easy ones? 200 1993

Hi

I am looking for advice on seat swaps:

The front leather seats in my 240 wagon are in very bad shape and I want to change them out for more ergonomic ones. (e.g., my 740 and 850 have great seats)

I understand that it's often straightforward to swap seats if one were to make brackets for refitting. But has anyone swap seats from another make to a 240 without having to weld? (i.e., retaining the original 240 rail slider and seat brackets)

I am interested in near bolt on swaps/conversions from other makes.

I have heard rumours of older BMW and some Alfa seats being used in 240s which are pretty near bolt on.

Any tips?

Thanks
Lucast
