turbo muffler usage, and other non-turbo to turbo exhaust system questions... 200 1989

Looking to use the single-baffle turbo rear muffler in place of the standard, is that possible? Will it fit?

Also, I was looking at IPD's "turbo exhaust kit for non-turbo" 240's, they want $200 for it. Looking at FCP's site, I could put the same pieces together for $110

I think IPD has some "intermediate" pipe that fits the length of the old muffler to the CAT pipe, but is it worth $90?

So my second question is, has anyone put together a more budget-minded "turbo system" for their non-turbo 240? What did you do? Where did you get it from, how much did it cost?
