Replacing blower motor on 780

Hi. I believe the blower motor on my 91' 780 is coming to a end. It is making all kinds of horrible noises, the most prominent is a loud squealing sound which is intermittent. This is coming from the right side.....am I to presume that there is only one motor for the car?

Anyway, looking through the FAQ the procedure looks fairly easy. But.......I seem to recall hearing that replacing a blower motor on a 240 required dismantling the whole car, and for the 700/900 it says that the procedure is roughly the same. Am I missing something? And can someone with little skills do this or should I bring to a shop for replacement?

thanks,
