my temp gauge 120-130 1967

Hello,

The stock temperature gauge has a sealed capillary tube that runs from the bulb that screws into the back of the cylinder head to the back of the gauge.

It is most probable that the capillary tube got damaged and released the ether gas inside.

There is a thread here in the Brickboard somewhere about how to fix the gauge yourself, but I always send mine to a repair shop and have them done professionally, also not a real cheap option.

I usually have repaired units in stock.

New ones are available, but they are almost $200.00 and they are calibrated differently as the new gauge came in a B20 122 and the new ones sit a little cockeyed when mounted.
