Some Improvement. 120-130

Howdy Craig,

Beautiful work; as I have come to expect from just about everyone in Alberta. Is it the wholesome environment? ;-)

Also, at this point when I rev it up, it's very slow to come down. In the video (before I "fixed" the float level) the throttle response was very crisp. It has to be pig rich.

I have only experienced that when air circumvents the throttle plates. The carb to intake gaskets may be leaking; introduced during troubleshooting the carbs?

I don't know anything about HIF carbs. But you've Rhys in your corner. Between you two you'll get the leaking carbs worked out. For what it is worth, I vote for fuel pressure. ;-)

You had run-on even at the first shutdown, correct? Get the fuel under control and then see if it still diesels.

Good work on getting the advance mechanism repaired.
