better schematics 200 1984

I paid too much for an 84 242 that has a bunch of wires that are either missing, have the sheilding burned up or the components that they were once connected to are GONE. i.e. some 12 gauge looking wiring coming over the top of the center console (I removed the dash to make like easier) I have a
1. Red that is combined with a white w/ red stripe,
2. Green wire
3. Green wire that also has a:
4. Red wire coming off of it.
All have clear female connectors on them.

So the question is: Are there any resources out there for better schematics? The Bently manual has very light lines for the older models and a few components it doesn't even label. i.e. humor yourself and look up item 180.
(Vas? Ich neber sav zat! 179 to 182! WTF?)
