91 740 regina wont start again..help!!! 700

Earlier I posted that a crank but no start. The Whirring of the only intank ( regina has just one fuel pump and its in the tank)was not present on initial cranking..pressurizing the system I suppose.I got the familiar two clicks from the fuel pump relay ( I changed the old one out with a new one just in case). With the ignition on I pulled out and reinserted fuse number one which is for the fuel pump/injectors. I heard a seres of clickings...the radio suppression relay/s ,IAC and the uel pump relay. To my surprise I heard the fuel pump pressurizing and thenit started. The car worked OK for just about a week and last night she would not start again. So I pulled the fuse out a renserted it again ad it started!!Drove home and parked overnight. It would not start this morning so I cleaned the fuse and tried ..still no start...I did not hear the fuel pump whirring initially. Now in the past my fuel pump just quitted..no intermittent start/no start. Is it at all possible for the fuel pump to be intermittent? Also Does the crank position has anything to do with it? In addition I cleaned and swapped the radio suppression relays...no help..I want some insight before I go removing the fuel pump and relacing it..Thanks for any help
