Sweaty Boot Rash... 120-130 1968

I don't have sweaty boot rash (that's an obscure Futurama reference). What I *do* get is a sweaty back and rear thanks to my original intact vinyl seats.

I'm unlikely to recover these seats anytime soon. I had tried a couple of pads that have spiral springs inside the cover. These worked - sorta - but the edges quickly shredded and the exposed wires made the pads too risky to keep on the intact seats.

What have you guys tried on your seats that does not compromise the appearance of an intact vintage interior?

I've considered the beaded seatcovers. These are kinda pricey and I'm not sure if they would solve the problem.

Any other ideas?
