Bosh GR35X generator Bosh VA V30A regulator: Voltage? 444-544

Hi,
My voltmeter is on the fritz..guess I need to borrow one...
The previous owner dropped a really nice b18 with dual sus in my '59 PV445.
He also put in a 12v battery.
The above mentioned items on the subject line are what are in the car.
My headlights are dim and I have a good very good Motorala alternator from my blue 144GL (rip) so I went out and got one of those special alternator mounting brackets (THANKS IPD).
Now I am wondering if I need to do anything beyond installing the alternator and regulator taken from the 140...
I am pretty sure the fuel tank sender is a 12v and it looks like the ignition coil has been swapped.
I am worred about the gauges etc.
I am also wondering if the generator is a 6 or 12 volt.
Any information and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Ted Blue '59 PV445 and RootBeer '74 144GL
