engine 'pick' points 120-130

Been awhile since I've pulled an engine. We're going to do a swap this Saturday with a hoist without a leveler. So I'm looking for the groups' wisdom/experience re: the best two points on the engine to lift from. I've always done engine and trans together, but that was with a leveler to tip the beast front to back to clear the engine compartment.
I recall a threaded hole in the front of the head and don't remember if the rear was a head bolt....or what? I don't want to pull the rocker shaft to do this, in or out. So, what are the best (center of gravity, safety, etc.) points to bolt the chain to and lift from?

Also, this engine has a one piece dual exhaust manifold. What's the stud size so I can buy the 3 nuts for the manifold to header pipe studs?

thanks
Danny
