91 245 no spark

no spark, no power at coil, battery discharges quickly, fresh battery, tried new coil. there is no handy "fix-all" 25a blade fuse behind the battery. afraid theres a hot wire grounding somewhere-negative(blue and white) coil wire popped when touched to the ground. fuel pump kicked on for 3 seconds when key first turned. we just got the transmission kick-down cable/filter/full flush,did a full tune-up plugs wires cap rotor oil air filter pcv flush new vacuum lines and we cant even take it for a test drive!! any help is very very much appreciated.
