Will be looking at a 91 740 wagon on the weekend. About 145,000 miles, 2 owner, apparently good records. Seems it might need exhaust and emergency brake repair. Working AC. Daily driver.

I have read the 740 FAQ for tips on buying used.

I assume I don't need to be concerned about rust too much on these models (plus this one has been rust-proofed regularly).

Any suggestions on things I should pay particular attention to, other than the obvious? In particular, what should I ensure has been replaced on it at that mileage, to minimize after-purchase costs?
