Oil filter adapter "green o-ring' question 700 1986

1986 745T, M46, 150,000 miles.

Looks like I'm experiencing an oil leak at the adapter / block connection. Flame trap is clean and there are no drips from the bellhousing or timing gear cover. I searched the archives and found some great information - thanks.

I'm pretty sure I need part # 967343 (the green o-ring) because the sticker on the timing cover has the number "499998" over "B230FT 2928".

My two questions:
1. Do I need one or two of the 967343 o-rings? My guess is that there is only one. Also, does anyone happen to know the diameter of that o-ring? The reason I ask is because my remote filter adapter could probably use a new gasket as well and that one appears to be 2-5/8" diameter.

2. Does the number on the timing cover (499998) mean that was the 499998th B230 produced?
