I'm having lots of struggles involving my SUs on my '66 130.

I've been fighting a slight miss every once in a while after swapping the b-18 out for a b-20, but now it's gotten to the point where the car is practically undriveable. It surges while driving, although it seems to idle okay.

SUs are still some what of a mystery to me (this is my first carbureted car), so please forgive any of my ignorance on the subject.

Is there any trick to getting the carbs to sync up correctly? I've gotten the throttle adjusters so that they look like they are moving at the exact same time, but when I give the throttle a good pull, I can clearly see the piston inside the front carb lift much quicker then the rear carb. (Both dashpots do have oil in them.)

How is the mixture setting achieved? From what I understand it goes as follows: turn adjustment screws up all the way up, then back them down 12 flats. Dial in the settings from there. Does this sound correct?

The carbs went untouched during the engine swap, as such the needles haven't been changed. Should I worry about this? The B-20 has an IPD street performance cam in it.

Any ideas where I should start? At the moment I'm completely lost.
