Wiper Park Position 120-130

Myles;

Congratulations on getting the car roadworthy!

Regarding wipers, there are several possibilities, but they are ALL mechanical...messing with the wiring will not change the parking position.

1. If linkage is an earlier "three gearbox type", park position is solely determined by parkswitch contact disc in motor assembly.

2. If a later "cable on cam" mechanism, the likages can have been reassembled incorrectly and result in parking to left side, OR a RHD mechanism was deliberately installed for instance as a replacement without changing park position back to what is more typical for LHD vehicles.

Please determine by inspection, which type of mechanism is installed and report back.

Cheers
