A body shop with a car o liner would make that install a breeze. Labor here in fla is $36 an hour, I'd figure 10 hours to do it. I have training films on how to set up a measuring system if anyone wants to see it.
The car o liner was commissioned by a group of insurance companies in Sweden. They wanted an alternative to the celeste bench rack that is for sure the best way to fix a wreck. In the late 70's car o liner came to america, and set the body industry on it's ears.
Celeste uses a set of jigs for every single car, they are insanely expensive to rent. The car o liner is universal, fits all cars.
There are 2 things that make it work. The bench is machined to unbelievable tolerances, that means that the car is always the same distance from the machine. This sets your datum line. The measuring is 3 dimensional, there is a ladder that runs the length of the car, it gets centered. Once centered, you can measure any point, length width and height.
I would have loved to set this car up on one for my rear install. Anyway, it would be a breeze to set the rear in, tack it, pull it out and weld it, and stick it back in.
