Lights 900 1996

The trunk lid of my 960 looks as though it has 6 lights, 3 on each side. But, the
right bottom "light" has no hole where a bulb can be inserted. Why is that? The left bottom light has a bulb, but I don't know what switch activates it.

Also, when I step on my brakes the "light out" light on the dash lights up. What is possibly the problem? All lights seem to be working, except the front left fog light, and the one light I mentioned in the above paragraph (that lightbulb is functioning).
