Water Pump Location B6304 900

Hello All,
I'm still chasing a coolant leak, but because of financial strains, I have been putting it off, and just keep dumping premix into the overflow tank when the light comes on. My question is this: Is the water pump located on the passenger side of the engine? (I have the B6304) I'm pretty sure I see the u-tube for the coolant on the exhaust side of the engine. What could possibly be at the bottom driver's side of the engine that would leak coolant? I see a bunch of residue dried there (white)and flaky, when I pull the upper timing cover. Maybe the water pump is on that side, and I'm just crazy... The timing belt guard (shiny one at the bottom of the crank pulley) has residue all over it...any suggestions as to what component could be leaking? Never leaves a drop on the ground, however. Remember, I'm looking at the engine from the front bumper in, and all that stuff is on the right side at the bottom. Advice very welcome at this point, as I would rather diagnose the issue myself, versus paying the Volvo indy to do the same thing.
