940 amp wiring 900 1983

Hi everybody my name is kasoma and i am new here and have a 940 wagon turbo and after much laziness i decided to replace the stock half working cassette deck with a cd player. i purchased the harness for this car at local stereo shop. i have installed other stereos before and was pretty sure that this was just as easy.... it seems my volvo has amp the the speakers go thru so part of the kit i bought will not work. how do i fix this problem i do not want to hack and stabb this just a way around this problem or some way to fix this....
