Great Idea! But... 120-130 1968

My 1972 145 was my first volvo, second car ever. I used to leave the vent windows slightly open and then I'd just open it an flip the door lever with my arm.

Sadly this is a 130 and my arm is just not quite long enough to reach the lock knob. So even if I can open the vent, I can;t reach the knob...

Plus I *just* invested in new vent window rubbers and new windlace... Ugh.

I'm thinking maybe I can reach down into the door - maybe using the wiper arm - and catch the lock rod. I've had the door apart before to service the lock so I kinda remember what it is like in there...

I'll let you guys know what happens. It is damn cold outside though. I'd rather just use my spare key (if we can find it).

Thanks!
