What is the word on "power flushes" ? I have performed a regular (auto)tranmission fluid change twice in the last couple years, first because it was time and second because of the dreaded solenoid syndrome. We replaced the solenoid and cleaned out the chamber a good as possible without dropping the tranny and I still can't drop it out of overdrive except on really warm days. Lately in the cold weather (Western Ma. ) I have to run 2 miles before it will engage 4th. I think there must be a cleaner additive or back flush procedure available. Really don't want a professional transmission job.
