Help! Ignition wiring harness problem - '86 240 200

I've been having a problem with the car stutting during acceleration, and I was changing stuff to see if I can get it to stop. I was checking to see if the knock sensor wire was plugged in correctly, I discovered the car starting to stutter, the idle started to fluctuate and the car died (the car will start right up again). When the ignition is on-car not running, I could hear something clicking when I would wiggle these two wires:

I traced the clicking to the fuel injectors. The clicking only occurs when both of these wires are connected to the coil.

I replaced the engine harness a couple years ago with a replacement harness. Are these two wires part of the ignition wiring harness?

Can I run some new wires to get the car running right again. Where do they go?

Paul
