Nivomat conversion on 780 IRS 700 1988

Well, the second spring change only took 45 minutes. There is no need for the spring compressors if the trailing arm to axle bolt is removed and the unit is allowed to drop all of the way down, (supported with a jack of course!). The car is completely stripped so I am not going to clip the springs until all of the restoration work is completed and it has a full curb weight, but you can see that the stock 245 rear springs give the 780 more than sufficient support without the Nivomats.
