Help alleviate my OCD 200

Friends,

My mechanic (Nordic Motors, Cincinnati) suggested I run a bottle of Techron by Chevron through my 244's fuel system.

As I was peeling off the foil seal on the bottle, I somehow got it in my mind that a piece fell down inside. Nonetheless, I emptied the contents into my tank.

So, IF (a big emphasis) a piece did somehow get into my fuel tank, would the fuel filter "catch" it or would it just settle to the bottom and slowly decompose (that's probably not the right term here, but)?

Crazy, I know.

Thanks.
