Aftermarket Knock sensor S90-V90

Not really posting a serious question, just information for anyone who might one day be interested.

A few days ago, I was in the market for a new knock sensor. Dealer wanted $99 for a Bosch part. I kept looking around. Finally, I called the Advance Auto Parts store down the street from me. They sell a knock sensor for $38. "Who makes it," I said. "BWD, Borg Warner." Okay, so it's not the Bosch part, but Borg has a factory in my town, so I figured I'd do my part for keeping the company alive. AND it's almost 1/3 the price of the Bosch.

Anyway, 2 delivery days later, I pick up the part at the store. When I get home, I open the box, and to my surprise, the part is made in Germany, Has the word "Bosch" stamped on it, and is completely identical to the OEM part. Funny part, it was in a Borg box.

Anyone else run into this?
