Just Purchased a 240DL 200 1986

I just purchased a 1986 240DL on Ebay. The windshield wipers only have one speed and that speed is relatively slow. Should there be more than one speed on 1986 240DL wipers? If so, would purchasing a replacement motor set resolve the one-speed existing condition?

Any help that you can provide is appreciated.

By the way....Never buy an auto from Transatlantic Autos in Georgia. Ad stated 73,000 miles.....actual over 100,000 K based on documentation referencing odometer replacement. Ad stated ice cold air. Air doesn't work. Ad Stated 80% tread on tires.... tires 50% bald and gouge in side of one tire. Ad stated everything works. Heated seats don't work, clock doesn't work, car has a few issues. I figured I'd have to spend a grand or two to get it up to standards. May be > $2K before we get there. Paid premium $ based on ad. SHAME ON ME! Buyer beware!
