This 1993 940 Turbo has begun to stall after being driven for about 15 minutes. I just installed a new battery after it happened again yesterday with my daughter. She said in attempting to restart the stater sounded strong for a second or 2 then wound down making it sound like a bad battery so I have now replaced it.
I checked the charging system and the alternator is giving a good 14.5 VDC charge during the running of the engine. The belt is good with the correct tension.
At one point the lights did NOT turn on for my wife when all this happened to her.
I'm wondering if the fuel pump relay or other related electronic parts may be intermittenly failing??
Anyone else ever have this problem? Thanks for any suggestion!
