alt mod or not to mod? 120-130

Wow! Thanks much for the unsolicited kind words! The Delco conversion is certainly an option, but since gd has the B20 with OE alt mounting boss, he does also have the OE alt option.

GD; The choice is yours, (see also: http://sw-em.com/bosch_delco_diffs.htm )but I think you jumped some logic steps in the statement: "I know I loved having my rear fog lights on my 740 and 760! SO this means an alternator on the 122." The extra power of (either) alt conversion is certainly nice and few will argue against it, but adding a rear fog light (est. 20 watts) does not make having an alt absolutely necessary...even a generator system in decent working order will hopefully have that amp and a half left to spare...
