164 discs/calipers 140-160

"Most people will tell you that this swap is a waste of time as the 140s have excellent brakes straight from the factory."

And those people will probably include just about anyone that has ever raced a 140. I cannot imagine any circumstance under which a street driven 140 would actually benefit from a brake upgrade. (Well, okay... ABS might be nice!)

With nothing more than a change to high performance pads and fluid, the bone stock brakes on my ITB 142 do lap after racing lap with no fade, nor any other performance issues whatsoever. And keep in mind, this is on tires with tread compounds that provide far more grip than you'll ever achieve on street rubber.
