No 25 amp fuse? And what is that orange connector? 200 1992

I was trying to troubleshoot my daughter's 1992 240 via telephone. It was running yesterday. Today it started and died & now it will not start. We more or less eliminated the timing belt, fuel pumps, fuel pump relay... surprise! There doesn't seem to be a 25 amp fuse under the hood --- but there is a big extra heavy duty orange connector in the harness.

QUESTION: there is no 25 amp fuel system fuse in the '92 engine compartment?
QUESTION: What is the big 1992 connector/plug in the harness?

Lastly, the fuel system OBD code was ok: 1-1-1; so it must be ignition?

UNEXPECTED OBD PROBLEM: Could not get any codes from socket 6.
QUESTION: What would cause the OBD for ignition not to work?

Thanks.
