Would you believe it?......i had just read this post this morning, went out in the `96 960 with 127000mls on the clock and it started to mis-fire on the way home....took the cover off and pulled each lead off the coil in turn and found it was no.3 had gone...i moved it to no.1 just to confirm the same...ordered one from my local Volvo garage £46 so will collect tomorrow...i had one go 3 yrs ago and that was no.4...no trouble `till now...i was wondering as it is the centre of the engine if heat makes them go first rather than the outer ones?....
