I second Ryan's idea. Just did the struts on my '91 740, and the original Volvo mounts look fine.

That said, your mounts may be different from the 1991-92 mounts, so, if possible, buy some genuine Volvo ones from a source that will let you return them if you don't need them. Look the old ones over carefully while they are out.
