That sounds like good work.
I rigged a permanent electric outlet in place of my cig lighter. Powers a ThinkPad. Works great.

I also surgically removed my IAC valve and adjusted as necessary. That was working fine until I blew the head gasket on a trip outEast. Transporter took the car all the way home and parked it right in my driveway, so the gasket repair will be pretty easy. Then I will continue electr. and other conduit surgery on the car.
