1800 A-pillar Spotlight? 1800

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with installing, or photographs of, an A-pillar mounted spotlight (think police car spot light, or Google "Unity Spotlight") on an 1800, or any vintage Volvo for that matter. I've seen them on older domestic vehicles such as a '67 Impala, but not on Volvos thus far.

My concern is that the A-pillar in the 1800 doesn't appear to be the most robust pillar when compared to other models of vehicles, and that drilling a hole through it may compromise the structural integrity. (Not that I plan on flipping my car anytime soon.)

Has it been done? Can it be done?

Thanks.

-Sean
