Intermediate shaft and rotor alignment 200 1992

Hello all,

I am in the middle of replacing my Volvo 240 headgasket and decided to replace the engine front seal while I am there. I also went ahead and removed the aluminum cover that holds the intermediate and crank seals. My problem startted when I was trying to remove/scrape the cover gasket, I accidentally pulled the intermediate shaft too much to the point that it came out of its place and now I need to put it back together. Re-inserting the shaft is easy; the problem is making sure the distributor rotor points to the right direction while the sprocket aligns with the timing mark.

I am asking for all of your expert advise to help me put it together.
