So a quick update- I know a guy who knows the big cheese @ the parking athourity, and I got the whole scoop!
Yes my car was booted and towed due to my being an ideot and giving away my plates to a jerk but...

The tickets went to collection they apparently will not hound me fro the money as they have not phone number for me, but they will tow the car I presently own until I pay $1,200 for the tickets the other guy got... I also have $35.00 worth of tickets on the 122. I have 30 days to save me brick, along with storage fees etc- much more realistic than before. So yet again lesson learned.

I'm going down there to sort it out, I was promised I would not go to jail as this is a collections matter not a legal issue.

Its getting better all the time!
