New wheel bearing? 200

Hello guys. I have a 1989 240dl. For the past week or two I have heard what sounds like excessive road noise from the front right. When I grab the top and bottom of the wheel and jiggle there is about a 1/4 inch of play. If I grab the right and left of the wheel and jiggle there is less than a mm of play. So I'm guessing I need to replace the wheel bearing? Car has 164,000 so it must be about time. Are the bearings from FCP good? Thanks!
