Radio Speaker(s) issue 200

I had similar problems. Only it was everything that would fade away to nothing . Not just one speaker. It was the amp and the radio in my case. When I turned the radio on it would burp loudly in the front speakers signalling a shorted amp. I replaced the amp. Wrecker charge me $30 for the amp and it cured the problem. Then I started losing FM only. I took the radio apart and found all the ground solders on the board were bad. I fixed some of them but it continued. I bought another radio from the wreckers. He ripped me off again and charged me $40 and I have a functioning crappy radio again. For $20 more I should have thrown it all away and bought a cheap CD player. Santa brought me one this year. Yay
