It was the seat computer after all. I called a junkyard, and ordered all the mechanicals for the drivers seat (figure it never hurts to have extra parts on hand). They sent me the tracks, motors, controllers, and memory box for BOTH the driver and passenger side seats. All for $100 shipped!

I swapped out the computer, and the seat is happy again. Now the passenger side motors are sounding really weak. Great...Give it time and I will become the volvo seat guru.
