B16 Alternator mounting questions 444-544

Greetings.

What are the options out there for mounting an alternator to a b16 motor?? Do I have to just make a custom bracket?? Or does someone out there make one??

My duett had an alternator mounted to the bad b16 I pulled out of it. Problem was and is, the bracket was broken and is unusable. The bracket was about 3/4 of an inch longer than the b16 generator bracket. I assumed it was a generator bracket off of a B18 motor, but now I think not. I think the holes on the b18 mounting bracket are two up and one down. I studied it a little closer under all of the oil and crud and it looks like the bracket was just made longer with some crude welding and the holes to mount to the block were elongated so it could be moved back and forth.

Thanks for any help or suggestions. Please point me in the right direction.
